Designed by Jasper Morrison for Danish brand HAY. this Wall Clock gracefully combines the sensibilities of both designer and brand: a clean. minimalist silhouette and muted color palette. The face. with its index marks for every hour. minute and second. and six numerals (0. 2. 4. 6. 8 and 10). evokes a utilitarian workroom clock. but reimagined with home decor colors. The time is indicated with white. smooth-movement minute and hour hands and a yellow second hand. which adds a pop of bright color to the otherwise quiet design. The HAY Wall Clock is made from recycled ABS plastic with a clear acrylic cover. and measures 10.4diam. Both Jasper Morrison and HAY have work in MoMA’s collection.
